Once you take off the wheel assembly (not terribly easy to do, nor to reattach it), it is a manageable, but again, a bit large, shoulder-carried laptop brief. The included laptop sleeve is roomy, perhaps too much so, as it takes a bit of room when placed in the main compartment. For serious road warriors, especially for the folks that do the out and back one-nighters, I would highly recommend this case. As an aside, for commuter flights, you can easily check the removable wheel/handle assembly plane side, and the rest of the bag fits under the seat in the commuter jets such as the CRJ's with no problem. Even the included leather briefcase will accommodate a laptop which is 14.25 x 11.18 x 1.8 inches, and still leaves an additional pocket for file folders or other business papers.
