The Latest Styles of Winter Boots Now Available!!

While winter boots have always been a necessity in snow and cold, they are fast becoming the foundation of every fall/winter ensemble. In addition to protection against the weather, boots now represent fashion and style. In fact, Shoebuy.com’s new Winter Boots Shop features over 400 styles of winter boots for men and women (all, of course, available in narrow to extra wide in women’s sizes 5-16 and men’s sizes 4-20). With so many options, it’s easy to see that you can find the winter boots to fit your style. Whether you need heavy duty boots with the best in traction to scale ice ridges or simple waterproof boots to wear on your commute to and from work every day, there’s a style out there just for you. In an effort to make winter boot buying a little easier, I’ve put together a sampling of the styles that are available out there. Essentially, winter boots come in four basic categories or styles: classic, waterproof, fur-lined and fashion. Many of these categories do overlap and it is possible to have a boot that fits more than one category. Based on your needs, you can choose which type fits your needs the best. Classic Winter Boots: Women's Merrell Primo Chill Massif : This tall winter boot offers a high-rise combination of a water-resistant pigskin leather upper with sheepskin lining and wool fleece foot-bed. The high shaft seals at the top with a toggle cord, keeping you warm even in the most frigid climate. Merrell Pilot™ Sole/Sticky Rubber bottom is great for walking on slick, icy surfaces. The Men's Rockport Lakota features a padded collar and tongue to help prevent blisters and lace bruising and a hydro-shield construction to keep your feet dry. It also has a Vibram Morflex sole (a rubberized EVA) that is lightweight and shock absorbing. This rugged winter boot is also airport-friendly thanks to its lightweight Fiberlon shank. Waterproof Winter Boots: Women's Sperry Top-Sider Pelican : A high gloss, durable, weatherproof rubber rain boot that's perfect for all weather performance. There is a cushioned micro-fleece lining for added comfort and luxury, and the best part is that it comes in a variety of colors and patterns that are sure to brighten even the most dreary of days! (shown: pink/white argyle; also available in green/red/black argyle, houndstooth, plain black quilt and multi-color stripe) The Men's Sperry Top-Sider Figawi is a stain-resistant rubber boot that has seam-.sealed waterproof construction, making it ideal for rain or snow. A hidden internal contoured EVA midsole offers the comfort of a running shoe, with added stability. Non-marking SuperTack™ rubber outsole provides ultimate traction. Fur-lined Winter Boots: Women's Santana Elecktra : This tall, waterproof leather boot is lined with fur to keep your calves warm. It also has a rubber sole for traction. The Elecktra looks great with both means and long skirts and is perfect for staying stylish when the temperature dips. The Men's LaCrosse Ridgetop has a Cold Temp Rating of -25 to -40 degrees fahrenheit and has a waterproof, nubuc leather upper with ozone-resistant rubber bottom and a fleece lining to keep the snow out. The steel shank provides arch support while the traditional lug patterned bottom enhances traction. Fashion Winter Boots Women's Born Apres: An authentic New Zealand shearling patchwork boot, the Apres is made with tumbled full-grain leather and has a textured rubber outsole. This stylish cold weather boot also features a leather sock lining for comfort and warmth. Men's Wolverine Tremor : This ruggedly stylish steel-toe boot has a full-grain leather upper with Dri-lex lining and a removable full cushion dual-density insole. The fine leathers and sleek design are great with any winter outfit and enables men to look good without compromising on comfort and protection.
